Well, it's official! Baby Shackleford #1 (as far as we know there's only one little bean in my belly) is on his or her way! Josh and I are so excited to move into the next phase of our lives together. It just keeps getting better! The due date is January 25. I am 7 weeks along right now. It is still a bit early, so I covet your prayers that all will continue to go smoothly with baby.
We had been trying for a bit. Surprisingly, it didn't take nearly as long as we expected. We were able to surprise our parents and everyone else, too, I think. We hadn't told anyone we were even trying.
Boy or Girl, we really couldn't care less. We just want a healthy baby - 10 fingers, 10 toes, etc., etc. Health is all that matters to us.
I had to pick a song with "baby" in it for this week. I had a few pop into my mind. I think this one takes the cake, though! Enjoy some Diana Ross and the Supremes to get your weekend started a little early!

Praise the Lord for this precious blessing I get to carry around for the next several months! I couldn't be more thankful.
Sooo happy for you girl. You will be a great mommy and this little one will bring you more joy than you can imagine!! Hope you are feeling great and have no morning, noon, or night sickness, will be praying for you!!!
